"RED HOOK — Plans for the city-owned 122-acre Brooklyn Marine Terminal site in Red Hook and the Columbia Street Waterfront District are barreling ahead with little community input in a process rapidly losing public trust, according to a panel assembled Thursday night by The City Club of New York, a not-for-profit that promotes good governance and thoughtful land-use policy.

On the panel were moderator David Burney, professor at Pratt Institute School of Architecture; James DeFilippis professor at EJB School of Planning & Public Policy, Rutgers University; Carly Baker-Rice, executive director of the Red Hook Business Alliance; and Deborah Gans, professor at Pratt Institute School.
